This is a Permanent, Full Time vacancy that will close in {x} days at {xx:xx} BST.

As the High Voltage / ICP Manager, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of High Voltage power installations for new projects across the UK.

Your team will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, connection and handover of assets to the client in line with technical specifications and standards.

So what will you be doing?

You will be responsible for the High Voltage electrical projects delivered in line with both internal and external customers’ expectations and in accordance with current DNO/IDNO. You will also;

  • Contribute as a member of the Senior Management Team to the development of the company strategy and to the business plan.
  • Build and manage a team that enables eSmart Networks to operate at the following voltages; LV, HV, 33kV, 66kV and 132kV
  • Assist and work closely with eSmart Networks in house design team to provide feedback and engineering solutions.
  • Drive the recruitment and development of staff in-line with business requirements, guide and monitor their development with one to ones and personal development plans.
  • Build and manage a team that enables eSmart Networks to operate at the following voltages; LV, HV, 33kV, 66kV and 132kV

 

The Person

This role will require someone with strong operational leadership skills, supporting the growth and development of a team in a growing business and a strong proven background within an operational position within the Electricity Industry. The ideal candidate will also have;

  • Previous experience within a management position
  • High Voltage Operational experience within the Electricity Industry, Electrical technologies, techniques, specifications and standards/codes of practice.
  • Operational experience for assessing risk. Identification of associated risk, preventative measures, management system procedures and methods of communication
  • Knowledge of Industrial & Commercial connections sector
  • Ability to lead and develop a highly focused team to meet deadlines and to work with others to achieve shared goals
