Taking up a newly created position, supporting eSmart Networks expansion, the Construction Manager will be responsible for overseeing direct and subcontract works bringing together the various disciplines of Electrical, ICP and Civil works. As Construction Manager you will support the Head of Construction with operational team growth and development as well as driving team performance and a positive Health and safety culture. So, what will you be doing?
As well as line management responsibilities, you will be contributing as a member of the management team to the development of company strategy and to the Business Plan. Taking full accountability for site construction, engineering support and planning for successful delivery of ICP, you will also implement and oversee policies, processes and procedures for the Operations function.

The Person:
You will be from a Civil Engineering and/or Electrical engineering background within construction, where you have previously held a leadership role. We would expect you to have a good understanding of Groundwork & Civils, alongside working knowledge of current Legislation, Technical Standards & Specifications, Codes of Practice and Recommendations relating to Electricity Distribution.
This will be a customer facing role and therefore, having a positive attitude towards customer service and understanding of its impact on business performance is key.
