This is a key position providing support and assisting the HSEQ team to ensure all Compliance, Health and Safety requirements are being adhered to, the role will require traveling across the Country, ensuring best practice and correct procedures and processes are being always maintained and developed to ensure Health and Safety is compliant across the business.

So what else will you be doing?

  • Conducting regular audits of HSE systems, procedures and field operations, including the effectiveness of generic and site-specific risk assessments and appropriate method statements;
  • Provide relevant Health and Safety advice and guidance to the EHV  project team, with a cradle to grave project mentality.
  • To assist the EHV Delivery team in the pre-construction phase in  ensuring we can fulfill our duties under the CDM Regulations 2015
  • Undertake root-cause analysis of any incidents or accidents and suggest actions to aid continuous improvement;


What are we looking for? 

We are looking for someone with a detailed knowledge of Health, Safety and Environment methodologies, processes and techniques within the Utilities or Construction Sector. They will also have:

  • Knowledge of Quality Assurance and processes
  • Knowledge of NERS, WIRS and GIRS and Fibre Lloyds register.
  • Knowledge of highways working/NRSWA 
  • Knowledge of NICEIC Accreditation and electricity at work act 
  • Communications and influencing all parties
  • Credibility with front line staff and senior personnel
  • Pro-active and confident in challenging malpractice


  • NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction
  • CITB SMSTS Certificate
  • Internal Auditor trained
  • Full UK driving licence
  • EUSR/CSCS Card
