This is a Permanent, Full Time vacancy that will close in {x} days at {xx:xx} BST.

The role is to provide day to day support to our Warehouse Supervisor at our Letchworth depot. The successful applicant will be proactive and able to assist with stock management and movement of our equipment and materials across our sites and suppliers.

So what will you be doing? 

  • Accepting deliveries and booking them in to stock following the warehouse management plan whilst ensuring that all delivery notes and records are kept.
  •  Working with the Warehouse Supervisor to ensure that stock levels are balanced and the depot is prepared to supply materials to sites at short notice.
  • Preparing material shipments from packing lists so that they are ready to be shipped out or for our site teams to collect.
  •  Driving our delivery van from the warehouse to our sites and co-ordinating with site teams to ensure successful drop offs.

The person:

The person we are looking for must have strong organisational skills and have the ability to adapt and react to change when necessary. We are also looking for someone who has:

  • Previous experience working in a warehouse/completing deliveries.
  • Understanding of the goods in/out process and the ability to monitor and track them
  • Experience working within the construction industry would be advantageous.
  • Must have a clean UK driving licence and have experience driving vans and delivery vehicles.
  • Previous Manual Handling and First Aid training would be advantageous.
  • Understanding of Health and Safety rules and regulations and how they apply to the day to day works and the individual
  • Good level of IT literacy, with the ability to learn and use a variety of systems including the full MS Office suite.
